False Alarm

We did a quick overnight trip to Brisbane for my eldest daughter, Miranda.

Still, we are very excited.

Cocktails

Cocktail hour!

My fave was the 9 3/4 drink. I dunno what was in it, but it was goood. 😁

We also caught up with these folks, on the coast.

Surfers Paradise

We’re back at Surfers Paradise, for a week of holidays.

There’s nothing quite like sea air and the sound of rolling waves! 🙂

... Unless it’s beef bone soup & Korean fried chicken. 😁

Korean Language Learning

Having a grandson who is about 65.5% Chinese-Korean, I’m back at Korean classes, this evening (via Zoom). Thank goodness that I have access to my own personal tutor during the week between lessons!

UQ’s IML here in Brisbane offers all sorts of language classes.

One is never too old to learn something new.

Rules for Living a Healthy Life

It’s Monday. I hope that you are all going well.

I’ve got “COVID-19 spread”, so yesterday I gave myself a mental shake up about healthy diet & regular exercise. Looking after these two things makes me feel better AND I want to look fabulous for (& enjoy) up-coming weddings (we have three engaged couples in our joint family of offspring).

There is absolutely nothing in this world you can’t accomplish when set your mind to it and believe in yourself.

My observation is that if I plan it in advance (e.g. exercise, diet, projects I’m working on), I do it more often and do it better.

What about you? What’s happening in your world, this week?

Whatever it is, have a fab time doing it.
