Currently, I have several knitting and sewing projects on the go.

45 Years Ago
Goodness me! It’s 45 years today since we all finished school, though not leaving from the same schools.
Some of my thoughts about this life of mine ...?
Life is not a dress rehearsal. Live well, laugh often, love much.
Be a friend.
Decide to be happy.
Smile even when you don’t feel like it.
Don’t eat too much. Losing weight is difficult.
Don’t be a wall flower. Jump right in wherever you are in life.
Make plans, both long & short term.
Write them down.
Write other lists.
Take risks when making important decisions.
Plant a garden.
Read.
Accept invitations whenever possible.
Be active about your own education and your own health.
Walk the dog every day.
Never text when you have had too much to drink.
Forgive and forget.
Go to therapy when you need it.
Take photographs or be in photographs. You always look better than you thought you did when you look at the photos five years later.
Listen to music but enjoy silence.
Be busy but know how to do nothing.
Sleep when you can.
Be a friend.
Write & send Christmas cards!

Port Melbourne
Back to Melbourne.
I’d kiss the ground but I’m so old & rotund (from the ship’s food) that it would take an indecent amount of time to get up again.
After cruise RAT was negative for COVID. I’ll need to test again on Monday.
Thanks to the Unwind Craft café, we had a wonderful break away.

Ariel’s 2nd birthday
As we won’t be able to celebrate Ariel’s 2nd birthday with her on the day,
she received early birthday gifts from us, today.
As usual with my gift giving, there was something to do, something to wear and something to read. Rather than those gifts being centre stage, the miniature hair brush I threw in as a novelty item and the gift bag were the biggest hits. 🤣😂😄😆
