Happy Hallowmas season!
The Hallowmas season is the 3 days encompassing the observances of All Saints' Eve (Halloween), All Saints' Day (All Hallows') and All Souls' Day, which last from October 31 to November 2, annually.
It's a time to remember the dead, including martyrs, saints, and all faithful departed Christians.

It’s the start of the African Violet blooming season. My Diana cultivated this one for me, and gifted it in April. It’s a beauty!

Yesterday, Brisbane recorded its hottest October day since 2004 with the temperature hitting 36.6°C.
I didn’t think we had it that hot here at home, but we did. In fact, it was the hottest day for 2021. Fortunately, we catch the breezes by being in a house on top of a hill. My sister, Carla, & I dangled our feet in a very cold swimming pool for an hour or so. It was great to catch up.
We don’t call our home “Castle Bliss” for nothing. 😁
