Little Prince Newborn meets Terry G.
Terry is one of my long-time close friends (the type you probably only have a few of during your life). We met in 1980 when we were both nursing at Rockhampton Base Hospital. I was about 20 years old, recently married and full of the ideological balderdash that only young people can consider to be of any use to the universe. Terry was about 10 years older and a whole lot wiser. We've flitted in and out of each other's lives ever since.
We lived neighbourhood-near to each other for about 4 years. Terry still lives in the same house she did back then but I've moved from provincal-city-to-provincal-city many times. We celebrate together or on the phone the milestones of our lives and support each other in the down times. Since my 40th birthday, I've lost count of how much wine we have drunk together! LOL
The birth of Little Prince Newborn is definitely one of the happier milestones of our lives. Terry visited the hospital after the birth of his mother and uncle, so it seemed appropriate to have another photo session while she was in Brisbane this week.
Cheers to Terry!
