The "Four Seasons Chair" SAL
I'm joining another SAL with Margaret & Berta. Last year, we did the 'Frederick the Literate' SAL. The girls were such an inspiration!
I think this next project is a very pretty one. I'm going keep it simple & use 28 count white evenweave (I can't go wrong with that, can I?). More news as it comes to hand. For now, I'm waiting on a chart.
Meanwhile, the painting is looking good. I've chosen to continue with the Birkshire White (which is almost yellow) which runs throughout the rest of the house. I'm not putting any feature coloured walls into this room. I don't think it'd 'work' with the rest of the decor. I probably will when I come to painting what the crown prince calls 'The Cross Stitch Room' (it has 3 pictures on the walls - which is more than anywhere else in the house where no pics are hung cos I'm enjoying the paint for a while - LOL).
I've also chosen a new piece of fabric for my '5 Simple Rules' project. I yanked it out of the stash pile this morning, so have only a vague idea what it is - erm, query antique white 28 count linen. We'll all just have to wait and see.
Happiness & laughter always, folks. I hope you are enjoying the current weather wherever you are. It's glorious here in Brisbane at the moment.

I stitched that one already and had a lot of fun !!! The finished piece is really nice so I'm sure youre going to enjoy it as well ;)
That looks an enjoyable piece I will look forward to seeing your progress
It looks like a great design to stitch.
It is going to be such fun doing a SAL with you and Berta again Bliss. Like you I am using 28 ct white evenweave which should certainly be easier to work on than the black Aida we used for Frederick.
Antique White will be perfect for the '5 Simple Rules' and great to work on as well.
Wish I could drop by to see your renovations.
Have a great week.
What a great pattern! I have stitched this one before and I loved it:)
I agree with Margaret...no more black Aida! Looking forward to this next SAL!
That will be a great pattern to stitch! I will look forward to seeing you get started!
I love your Blog Bliss :o) I see that you're doing the SAL with Berta! It's funny how most of us are connected somewhere. LOL!
Painting..yuck! Wanna come over and do mine? ;o) I have lots of fencing to do.
The chairs piece should be a lovely piece to stitch on, and using the 28ct should make it easy on the eyes as well. Good luck with all the painting and such you'll have going on.
